Breathwork Circle

Sunday May 3, 2026

6:30-7:30pm

Heart and Soul Yoga in Palmyra, NJ

Every experience you've ever had happened in your body. Every one of them has left an energetic imprint. Sometimes we feel these imprints as heaviness, tightness, or emotional triggers. Breathwork is one way to bring these to the surface and let them go.

In this workshop, we'll notice what’s present, then lie down and breathe using the gentle, two-part technique popularized by David Elliott. Thinking minds will release, bodies will tingle, and long-held tensions and emotions will move through. We'll end with integrative rest, deep relaxation and a grounding check-in before heading out, lighter than we were before.

You deserve this. You might really need it.

Somatic Meditation

in the Meditation Gardens of Collingswood

Wednesday May 20, 2026

6:00-7:00 pm

along Newton Creek, down from Browning Rd. in Collingswood

Being embodied can take some practice! In this guided meditation, we'll take the time to tune closely into sensation from the feet up. Little by little, we'll make contact with ourselves, see how much awareness we can keep in in one place before moving on to another. Expect to feel more focused, easeful and enlivened. This practice can be done standing, but please bring a chair if that would be more comfortable for you.

24 CEUs available through the Gestalt Training Program of Philadelphia

1315 Walnut St., Philadelphia, PA, suite 1708

This is a group for person-centered therapists feeling hungry for growth and connection. It’s a group for Gestalt-trained or -curious therapists needing support in applying theory to practice. It’s a group for people who know they learn and grow through discussion, observation, and experimentation.

Every session will include a short discussion of Gestalt theory and principles followed by practicum sessions in small groups of four facilitated by Laura and Beth. Group members will do “real work” with each other followed by attentive, specific, supportive, growth-oriented feedback.

In order to create and maintain a strong, supportive container for this potent work, we are limiting the size of this group to just 8 participants who are committed to attending each of the eight sessions of the program.

We know that as therapists, our work is deeply dependent on insight into how we relate to ourselves and to other people, but it happens entirely in private. Typically, supervision depends on our own description of challenges we face, and thus is limited in its ability to reveal our strengths and areas for growth. In this group, we will learn by watching others working, and by allowing ourselves to be observed working.
